Crystal Quest Eagle® RM-1000 Alkalize/Ionize and Remineralizer 15 GPM

The Crystal Quest Eagle® RM-1000 is a whole house alkalizer, ionizer, and remineralizer that raises the pH of your incoming water supply. Using a four-stage process with natural minerals and carbonate media, it reduces acidity, infuses water with naturally occurring calcium, magnesium, and potassium ions, and produces a more balanced, alkaline drinking water throughout your home.

Water Travels Through 4 Stages

• Stages 1 & 2 — Water flows through a special blend of natural minerals and infrared balls.
• Stages 3 & 4 — Water flows through natural carbonate media which alkalizes, ionizes, and mineralizes the water while raising the pH level. This process reduces acidity and produces natural calcium, magnesium, and potassium ions that are readily absorbed by the body.

Understanding pH and Why It Matters

Low pH (Acidity): Water with a low pH can be acidic, soft, and corrosive. Signs include corrosion of fixtures, pinhole leaks in plumbing, blue staining from copper pipes, or rust staining from iron pipes. Acidic water can leach metals such as copper, iron, lead, manganese, and zinc, affecting taste and long-term health. Acidity cannot be removed but can be neutralized by raising the pH with alkalinity.

High pH (Alkalinity): Alkalinity is the capacity of water to neutralize acids. Water filters in the RM-1000 contain a media blend of calcium and magnesium carbonates made from naturally occurring minerals. This media slowly dissolves into the water, raising the pH, making it less corrosive, and lowering Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP). One of the most important benefits of alkaline water is that it lowers ORP.
