Controller Upgrade Options
Every high-flow system ships standard with the Rotrol S-150 Computer Controller — a proven industrial control unit with pre-treatment lockout, tank level input, LED status display, feed flush cycle, and alarm function. Two upgrade tiers are available:
- Standard (Rotrol S-150) — Included. Pre-treatment lockout, tank level integration, LED status display, automatic flush, and alarm output. Ideal for sites with on-site operators.
- C-200 Controller (no Ethernet) — +$7,400. Upgraded digital controller with advanced diagnostic display, programmable flush cycles, real-time TDS monitoring, and enhanced alarm logging. Fully self-contained — no network required.
- C-200 Controller with Ethernet — +$9,600. All C-200 features plus built-in Ethernet connectivity for remote monitoring, data logging, and alert notifications. Recommended for unmanned facilities and multi-site operators.
The Ethernet Connection option adds remote network access (+$1,100). Available with any controller tier — gives remote visibility of system status, water quality readings, and alarm events via your facility network.
Feed Water & Pretreatment Requirements
High-flow RO systems are designed for municipal or well water as the feed source. For reliable long-term performance, the following pretreatment is strongly recommended:
- Sediment prefiltration — Remove particulates down to 5 microns before the RO membranes
- Softening or antiscalant injection — Required if hardness exceeds 10–15 grains per gallon; scale will shorten membrane life significantly
- Chlorine removal — TFC membranes are chlorine-sensitive; carbon prefiltration or sodium metabisulfite dosing required for chlorinated municipal supplies
- Iron & manganese — Must be oxidized and filtered prior to the RO if levels exceed 0.05 ppm
Have unusual feed water conditions (high TDS, brackish, elevated iron, or high silica)? Request a custom quote or call 866-560-9808 — we can spec the right pretreatment package for your source water.
Shipping & Freight
These systems ship via freight carrier (LTL or flatbed) — not parcel. Freight is quoted separately based on your delivery location and is confirmed before order processing. Systems 30,000 GPD and above require a loading dock or forklift at the delivery site. Contact us before ordering to confirm freight logistics: 866-560-9808 | info@purewaterguys.com
